Hi there! I’m so excited to be back with you to us our FAITH to “Be Wholesome” with our MOUTH for Day 3 of our 5Day JumpStart Your Faith Challenge!!

How are you doing so far? Are you keeping up?

If you’re behind at all, I want to encourage you with two things:

#1-It’s okay to get a bit behind. I truly understand.

#2 -Don’t quit, just pick up where you left off, this challenge will always available to you go ahead and bookmark the pages and come back to it when it’s convenient to you.

Before we get started, let’s answer these questions.

-Are you a negative person or a positive person?

I’m more positive. However, in my past, I was a woman who replaced one chaotic situation for another. I was addicted to chaos. I talk more in-depth about that experience in

-Do you build people up or tear them down?

I struggle with this area. God is working on me!

So, are you ready to do Day 3?!

Let’s Jump right in….

S (Scripture): “Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.”-Ephesians 4:29

O (Observation): I need to be wholesome with my mouth. This means that whatever comes out of my needs to built on FAITH and graceful towards others.

A (Application): Use my mouth to be a direct representation of Jesus. So, that when I speak others know that I’m a child of GOD.

P (Prayer): “Lord, I believe your word in Ephesians 4:29, use my mouth to express kindness, positivity, and compassion. Be with me. Lord, remind me daily that my mouth can deter others from having FAITH in you if I use it to tear down others. Still, my impulse to use negative self-talk towards myself or others. Quiet my lips when I am overly critical of someone use and stop me dead in my tracks when the enemy tries to use my mouth to gossip. Lord, I know that it will be hard to fully tame my tongue. But, I have FAITH that my mouth will be wholesome and pleasing to you. In Jesus, name I pray. -Amen

To help you further understand the correlation between your mouth and FAITH. I will leave you with this food for thought: FAITH, it is not the size of our vocabulary, but the source of our vocabulary that is important. This means that our mouth fails us when it does reflect God’s thoughts on any given subject. When God speaks, power is released to change situations. When you speak does your mouth do the same? If not, you’ll need to plant good seeds of God’s word in your heart.

I don’t know about you. But, I’m feeling spiritually satisfied. Aww, boy the tears are coming, with only 2 Days left of this challenge. Enough of the sobbing! I’m a so very happy that you stuck to this challenge thus far. You’re AMAZING and PHENOMENAL!

Stay tuned for fabulous Day 4, What Does God Say About Your Body?

We will soon find out.

See Ya Soon,
